Customised air diffusion for an academic environment of excellence

Klimagiel has implemented an air diffusion project at the Polytechnic University of Bari, with the aim of improving environmental comfort in classrooms and laboratories through tailor-made technical solutions.

Aesthetic and functional customisation

To blend harmoniously with the architectural context of the institute, the textile ducts were made in the colour “aqua”, chosen to give the rooms a bright, fresh and modern atmosphere. The project involved the installation of 110 metres of micro-perforated ducts, with diameters ranging from 200 to 350 mm, designed to ensure even air distribution.

Advanced technical solutions

One of the most significant aspects of the project was the study of perforations oriented towards the glass walls, in order to prevent condensation and improve indoor air quality. This configuration was designed ad hoc by our technical department to meet the specific structural and functional requirements of the building.

Ease of installation

To facilitate installation, especially in the presence of uneven ceilings, the standard Klimagiel mounting kit has been provided, which guarantees versatility and speed of installation in complex architectural contexts.

Results

The end result is an academic environment that combines technical efficiency and aesthetics, improving the daily lives of students, teachers and researchers. Thanks to the solution implemented, the Polytechnic University of Bari can now count on a quiet, efficient and perfectly integrated air conditioning system.
